Daniele Pozzi is a sound artist, electronic musician, researcher and software developer based in Graz, Austria.He studied Electroacoustic Composition at the Conservatory of Padua, Italy, and Computer Music at the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustic of the University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz. At the same university he is currently pursuing his doctoral degree at the Doctoral School for Artistic Research. His work deals with feedback and complex systems, non-standard sound synthesis, emergence, site-specificity and algorithmic systems for music composition and sound art. Apart from his solo work, he collaborates in a variety of projects ranging from electroacoustic improvisation (Xyolo Nyote, Strip & Embellish, sun til threads) to sound installations in the public space (Klangnetze) and augmented soundwalks (Hörselgång). He worked in artistic research projects such as Simultaneous Arrivals (Gustav Mahler University of Music, Klagenfurt, Austria), Algorithms that Matter (Institute of Electronic Musica and Acoustics, University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz, Austria), Enacting Artistic Research (Academy of Fine Arts, Rome / Marche Polytechnic University, Italy). Daniele works at the Gustav Mahler University of Music, Klagenfurt, Austria, and he is part of the managing team of the Research Catalogue.
